Aabadi Mountain Camp
Aabadi Mountain Camp lies on the boarder of the Twyfelfontein proclaimed world heritage site and it takes 15 minutes drive to the paintings, burnt mountain and organ pipes. The camp offers a relaxed and friendly environment to enjoy the African bush. The camp has been expertly integrated with the surrounding Aabadi Mountain to create a natural environment where guests can enjoy traditional meals in the restaurant or a drink at the bar. Desert elephants move freely around the camp and one may see many indigenous birds around. It also provides a clear sky for those who like star gazing.
The camping ground at Aabadi is a beautiful natural area just along the Aba Huab river bank with 8 separate camping areas. Each of these well demarcated spaces has braai facilities, a wash basin and a plugging socket. The entire camping ground is well lit and has 9 ablution facilities.
Aabadi Mountain Camp offers a game drive tour, heritage tour and a walking tour all with the assurance of an experienced guide. A few of the highlights in the area are the petrified forest, burnt mountain and the rock engravings at Twyfelfontein.
