Canyon Village
The Canyon Village is found at the foot of a vast cliff in the Gondwana Canyon Park. The decoration of the restaurant and chalets is in a fully Namibian style. The chalets offer you a beautiful view over the vast plains of the Gondwana Canyon Park. The swimming pool with sunbeds offers refreshment after a day of adventure. A place you can relax and recharge during your self drive 4×4 trip through Namibia.
Upon arrival, a donkey and cart will take you to your accommodation, guided by a family from the region. Many of the products for breakfast, such as yoghurt, cheese, meat and eggs, are provided by the butchery, the dairy factory and the smokehouse of the Self-Sufficiency Centre. Light lunches can be ordered from the à la carte menu and various meat dishes, fresh vegetables and a selection of salads are available in the evening. The small farm also produces fruit, vegetables and herbs, fresh out of their own garden.
