Silwane Camp Hwange
Camp Silwane is a new camp located in a beautiful, private nature reserve rich in conservation, located next to Hwange National Park, one of Zimbabwe’s last truly great wilderness areas. Silwane Conservation Area is an innovative new project transforming what was previously a hunting ground into a protected photographic safari area
The Hwange National Park covers approximately 15,000 km2 in the northwest corner of Zimbabwe. You can easily reach Hwange and the camp from Botswana, South Africa and Zambia. Wildlife watching is also excellent in the dry winter months from June to October. During the full moon, you can also spot spectacular moonlit animals from your tent. If you are a bird watcher, the summer months from November to May are a special treat. There are over 400 species of birds!
Accommodation at Silwane:
Acacia Grove campsite, a private camping site. And luxury tented camp. Each safari tent has its own veranda overlooking the setting sun, so you can enjoy a private ‘sunset’ or that early morning mug of coffee when the sky turns pink and the sky is filled with birdsong.
