Somabula Nature Reserve Campsite
Just outside Pretoria, and one hour from Johannesburg, is the Somabula Nature Reserve. In this peaceful valley, you can choose to camp or stay the night in a chalet or Ox Wagon. From here, the city is right around the corner, but you can stay the night in the peace and quiet of the nature reserve with wild animals.
All accommodations are far enough apart and offer shade and privacy. Both the Ox Wagons and chalets are self-catering. You have a kitchen and kitchenware available to you, so you can prepare whatever you want. The chalets feature their own bathrooms and the Ox Wagons and camping pitches have a shared toilet block with hot and cold water.
The surroundings of the Somabula Nature Reserve are great for hiking and visiting a number of traditional villages.
