The Covid-19 or Coronavirus has an impact on everyone in society, especially the travel industry. For countries such as South Africa, Botswana and Namibia, the code orange is currently still applicable and non-essential travel is discouraged from countries like the Netherlands. However it’s possible to travel if you want,
There are positive developments step by step. Namibia, for example, is open to travellers with the restriction that a negative Covid-19 test will be shown. There are direct flights to Windhoek from Germany. Before the return journey, a new PCR test can be obtained at various locations prior to the return flight. For that reason, several of our travellers have decided to make their (re) booked trip.
In principle, all countries in Southern Africa can be visited with a negative PCR test.
