Motopi Camp
Motopi Camp is a very simple campsite. There is a toilet and a ‘shower’ with which you bring your own water to the shower facility. Drinking water, food and wood for the campfire are all things you will need to bring yourself. Going back to basic and getting away from the more touristy spots is what Motopi Camp is all about. This is a great spot to look at the stars at night.
There are no fences around the camp, which means the various Kalahari animals can freely walk through the camp. There is a good chance of receiving a visit from a jackal at night. Motopi campsite is part of multiple self drive 4×4 trips through Botswana. This camp in the Central Kalahari Game Reserve can be reached from the Ghanzi or Maun via the Tsau gate.
